In industries where tipping is common, it often happens that customers forget to do so when making an electronic or digital payment.
We have the solution! You can now collect tips with electronic and digital payments from your cash collection device.
Thanks to this feature, at the time of collection, the customer can add a tip of their choice and pay the total amount including the tip in a single transaction.
You can enable tip management from the settings and choose a free-entry or multiple-choice tip.
With the “Free Entry” function, the customer will decide independently how much to leave as a tip (as in the first image).
If you select “Multiple Choice,” you can set as many tip levels as you like, either in € or % of the total.
Don’t forget to click “Apply” after making your selection.
At the time of payment, the customer will see the screen where he can choose whether to leave a tip and the tip level to select (as in the last photo).
In both cases the total is collected in a single payment.
You can see the tip amount in the transaction list, in the closing, and also on the portal in the transactions section.
(Tipping works with all payment entry methods, including keyboard entry, app-to-app payment exchange, etc., except for cashier payment exchange.)
